The Green Alternative to Water Softening

Greenscale represents a fundamentally different approach to hard water problems. Instead of removing beneficial minerals through ion exchange, this system transforms them into a form that can't cause scale buildup. As hard water flows through the specialized media bed, calcium bicarbonate undergoes nucleation—converting into stable aragonite crystals that remain suspended in the water. These microscopic crystals won't adhere to pipes, fixtures, or heating elements, even in hot water applications up to 380°F.

The secret is Nucleation Assisted Crystallization (NAC). The system's glass bead media provides millions of nucleation sites where calcium carbonate crystals form and grow to a stable size before detaching into the water flow. Recommended Installation

Hardness testing required to select appropriate system capacity (12 gpg or 25 gpg configuration)
Flow rate consideration - size system to match peak household demand
Temperature limits - suitable for cold water lines; can handle up to 380°F for specialized applications
Bypass valve optional for service access, though no routine maintenance is required
Horizontal or vertical installation - system works in any orientation
