Comprehensive Protection in One System

The Triplex Filtration System tackles three of the most pressing water quality concerns in a single, integrated solution. This three-stage approach addresses chemical contaminants, scale formation, and PFAS contamination—delivering comprehensive point-of-use protection that goes far beyond what single-purpose filters can achieve. Stage 1: Carbon Block Filter

The first stage uses a dense carbon block filter to reduce sediment, chlorine, and a wide range of organic compounds. Its tight pore structure allows for effective particulate reduction while maximizing contact time for improved chemical adsorption. This stage protects downstream filters while immediately improving taste, odor, and overall water clarity.

Stage 2: Activated Carbon Filter

The second stage provides additional treatment through granular activated carbon, further reducing chlorine, disinfection byproducts, and residual organics. This layer acts as a polishing step, enhancing the effectiveness of the first stage and ensuring more complete contaminant reduction. It also helps extend the life and performance of the final ion exchange filter.

Stage 3: Ion Exchange Filter (Application-Specific)

The final stage utilizes ion exchange technology tailored to your specific water treatment needs. For PFAS reduction, specialized media is used to target and remove these persistent contaminants from the water supply. For scale control, the ion exchange media reduces hardness minerals such as calcium and magnesium, helping prevent scale buildup and protect plumbing and appliances.

Complete System Design

Available in two configurations—4.5" x 10" (Big Blue) for compact installations and 4.5" x 20" (Big Blue) for higher flow or extended capacity—the Triplex system delivers maximum flow rates from 3.0 to 5.0 GPM with minimal pressure drop. The three-bowl manifold design allows for independent filter replacement, so you only change what needs changing when it needs changing. Easy cartridge access and clear bowl options make monitoring and maintenance straightforward, while the robust "Big Blue" housings ensure long-term reliability under continuous service.
